Congratulations to Year 11 student, Jessica Clark, whose flair for poetry has resulted in her winning the Principal's Poetry Competition and the prize of a family pass to Taronga Western Plains Zoo, valued at $109.
Jessica is a prolific reader and writer and hopes to study English Literature at University.
"I am pleased to see Jessica's passion for poetry rewarded," commented Mr White.
Due to the high calibre of entries the judges decided to award a Runner Up Award to Arielle Irving (Year 6) and Highly Commended Awards to Taylor McCloskey (Year 10), Emily Glover (Year 7), Scarlett Hamblin (Year 6), Benjamin Fisk (Year 6), Hugo Weston (Year 6) and Savannah Nielsen (Year 5).
The primary school SRC kindly donated $5 canteen vouchers for the Runner Up and the Highly Commended awards.
Well done to to everyone who entered the competition.
